Apparently in Italy, the term "science" is as loosely defined as it tends to be by many new age self-help communities. After hosting a panel earlier this year to discuss supposed flaws in evolutionary theory, Italy’s National Research Council reportedly put up thousands of euros to help with the publication of a Creationist-friendly book, Evolutionism: The Decline of an Hypothesis. As one can imagine, the move is suspected to be a political one and has managed to piss-off the real scientists in Italy. Further more, the whole situation is especially ironic given that these days even the Roman Catholic Church subjectively supports Darwin’s ideas.
