She tried to explain that upon entering the court she was asked by security to remove her belt to no avail. 23-year resident of New Orleans was sentenced to ten days in jail for coming to court in shorts, out of which stuck her underwear, according to Orange News citing newspaper The Times-Picayune. I guess showing her cheeks in an attempt to sway the judge failed and earned her jail time. Kimberly Senette accompanied her brother to court; her brother was accused of car theft. When the judge saw the girl's outfit, he said, I guess that explains why it is called a court appearance. Senette said that her shorts slipped down and exposed the upper part of her buttocks, and underwear, because at the entrance to the courtroom, she was asked to remove her belt.As a result, she was found guilty of contempt of court and sent to detention for 5 days per cheek a total of ten days in jail.
